UNM Law School Professor and NSSP Co-PI Dawinder "Dave" S. Sidhu was elected to a term membership in the Council on Foreign Relations (“CFR”), an independent, nonpartisan think tank on world affairs. CFR members include Supreme Court Justices Stephen Breyer and Ruth Bader Ginsburg, presidents, secretaries of state, senators, and generals, as well as leading academics, business executives, and nonprofit professionals.
Sidhu's expertise in the area of national security law will no doubt aid the CFR in its role of addressing international questions affecting the United States. Professor Sidhu is pictured here receiving an award, a block of marble from the Supreme Court building, from Justice Antonin Scalia.
